Tips for the Right Choice
The right lighting for your boat Every boat needs lights and lamps! Looking for functional and mood lighting at a good price? If so, you've come to the right place Underwater Lights! We have lamps for every space you can imagine lamps in various shapes and sizes, the options are many! Choose between indoor lights, floor lights or underwater lights!
Step 1
watt
Power = Watt
It is one of the measurement units we are more familiar with, as we have used it to choose our LED bulbs.
Contrary to what most people believe, it actually does not tell you how bright the light is, but how much energy it consumes. In the past, when we had to choose among a single type of bulbs, we did not face problems since all incandescent bulbs were quite equivalent and thus we had a fairly accurate idea of how many Watts were needed for a specific task.
Now, having LED bulbs, which are the most suitable choice for greater energy savings.
Step 2
lumens
Brightness = Lumens
The brightness of a lamp is measured in Lumens and essentially shows us how much light the lamp produces.
The higher the number of Lumens, the more light the lamp emits into the space.
Step 3
temperature
Light Color Temperature
When we refer to the temperature of light, we mean how “Warm” or “Cool” it is. Warmer colors are more yellow, while cooler colors are more blue. There is no absolute choice for white color; therefore, you should choose the appropriate color based on your needs.
There are three main categories of LED bulbs based on color temperature, measured in Kelvin (K).
- WW: Warm White (3000 K)
- NW: Natural White (4500 K)
- PW: Cool White (6000 K)
As mentioned, the correct choice of an LED bulb depends on the space you want to illuminate.
